OPEN GEAR VL contains a combination of MoS 2 and Graphite solid lubricants for extreme application, e.g. boundary lubrication. OPEN GEAR VL , also has chemical EP (extreme pressure) additives which in combination with the solid lubricants give you a hydro elastic lubricating film which anchors itself to the metal surface thus eliminating wear, tear and pitting. When using OPEN GEAR VL the friction coefficient is 5 to 10 times smaller than when using old technology type of Bituminous or mineral based lubricants.
