For the lubrication of Worm, Spur, Bevel, Planetary gears, etc., which are working under heavy loads and high temperatures. It is mostly used in heavy industry where conventional oils break down due to the high temperature. VULCOGEAR SYNT EP is used in the Plastic Industry (Kalandern), Paper Industry, Steel Industry, Glass Factories, Railways, etc.

Characteristics:

• Temperature stable.
• Very good high and low temperature characteristics – continuous working temperature up to 200°C – short term up to 250°C.
• There is no mentionable carbonizing or sludge formation.
• Very high oxidation stability.
• High load capacity and excellent protection against wear.
• It has a much lower coefficient of friction than mineral oil (less energy consumption).
• It reduces internal friction, less heat build up.
• No tendencies to foam and has quick air separation Very good rust and corrosion protection.

VULCOGEAR SYNT EP is not compatible with mineral oils or other synthetic gear oils as it is based on polyalkylene glycol base fluid. Seals like ACRYLNITRILE, BUTADIENE- RUBBER, VITON, PTFE and SILICON RUBBER are recommended, if other seal material is used, please ask your supplier. VULCOGEAR SYNT EP gives you much longer drain intervals, fewer breakdowns and less energy consumption.

VULCOGEAR SYNT, are multi grade oils with excellent shear stability, temperature performance, load carrying capacity and with an extremely high viscosity index. VULCOGEAR SYNT oils are compatible with all mineral oils and seal materials. It is recommended for all types of gearboxes, e.g. Worm, Helical, Spur, etc.

VULCOGEAR SYNT , will reduce wear, reduces heat build-up, and generally the gearboxes will run cooler. It has high film strength; will absorb shock loads and demulsify quickly. Because of the high VI, it will replace a wide range of gear oils. It is compatible with most seals and seal materials. It also extends oil change intervals up to 20 (twenty) times.
