CSP 2000 DIESEL ADDITIVE
DIESEL FUEL ADDITIVE
|
DIESEL ADDITIVE CSP 2000 is an additive that is given to the diesel fuel in small quantities of all types of diesel motors from cars, utility vehicles and working machines.
The following is very characteristic: It improves the wear and tear protection, increase the lubricity of the fuel, corrosion protection in the whole fuel system, it keeps the injector systems very clean, it prevents the building of a stabile emulsion with water, it has the ability to disperse insoluble rubber that is worn off, it prevents foam during the period of refuelling, it improves the storage stability of the fuel, there are no disadvantages when the dosage exceeds the recommended amount, it mixes automatically when it comes into contact with the diesel fuel, spontaneously soluble, there is no change of the diesel fuels viscosity and when it burns there is no carbon residue left behind.
When considering the operation of a diesel engine it is common knowledge that the fuel injection spray pattern is critical for optimized combustion of the fuel air mixture. Non-uniform spray patterns hinder combustion and increase emissions of smoke and unburned fuel, reducing fuel efficiency.
During routine operation fuel related deposits will form on injectors. Deposits can accumulate in pintle/nozzle fuel passages as shown in the figure below. These carbonaceous deposits can affect injection timing, restrict fuel flow, cause injectors to dribble and disrupt injection spray patterns.
DIESEL ADDITIVE CSP 2000 contains an effective detergent/dispersant, which reduces the formation of injector deposits, and helps to maintain maximum combustion efficiency.
The cleanliness properties have been demonstrated in the Peugeot XUD9 and VW Jetta engine tests.
Tests run with diesel fuel containing DIESEL ADDITIVE CSP 2000 show higher injector flow rates compared to the base fuel. |
