RUST PROTECTIVE OIL 8020 is used as a surface conservation of tools, half finished products, spare parts etc. or wherever the product must be protected from corrosion or rust. Mainly used for protection when stored inside.

The materials which must be protected should be tipped, submerged in, sprayed or brushed on with RUST PROTECTIVE OIL 8020.

Solvent and high quality mineral oil with corrosion inhibitors. It leaves a slight waxy-oily film.

STRUB RUST PROTECTIVE OIL 8045 was specially developed for the spare parts storage, middle storage areas as well as for transport conservation.

STRUB RUST PROTECTIVE OIL 8045 builds a wax type film on the machined material which is not slippery and has an excellent water displacement thus having good corrosion protection. STRUB RUST PROTECTIVE OIL 8045 does not attract dust.

STRUB RUST PROTECTIVE OIL 8045 leaves a light oil film which does not attract dust and has little lubricating function. STRUB RUST PROTECTIVE OIL 8045 can be removed using either of the following products namely (Petroleum) White Spirits, Benzine or Alkaline Industry cleaner (e.g. STRUB MONOFIX ECO CLEAN 3000). The protective film is almost colourless.

Normally the application of corrosion protective products that displace water is in dive baths. To reduce the evaporation of the solvents, these baths should be fitted with a lid. In order for the water to be fully displaced, we recommend that complicated working pieces be turned. There should be a dive time between 30 and 60 seconds. STRUB RUST PROTECTIVE OIL 8045 can also be applied by means of a spray system or the use of a brush.
